Nueva Andalucía — The Golf Valley, Explained

If Marbella has a heart, Nueva Andalucía is its quieter, greener chamber. Bordered by the Sierra Blanca to the north and Puerto Banús to the south, this valley has slowly become the address for buyers who want space, views, and a five-minute drive to the marina.

Why buyers choose the Golf Valley

Four championship golf courses — Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, Aloha and La Quinta — form the green spine of the neighbourhood. That's why locals call it Valle del Golf. But the real appeal is topography: villas sit on gentle south-facing slopes, giving almost every home a view of La Concha mountain and, from the higher urbanisations, the Mediterranean.

The best micro-locations

Aloha and Las Brisas are the classics — mature gardens, established villas, walkable to Centro Plaza. La Cerquilla and La Quinta sit higher and quieter, with the largest modern plots. Los Naranjos is family-oriented and slightly more affordable. For contemporary architecture on generous plots, look at El Herrojo and La Alquería in neighbouring Benahavís.

Lifestyle & practicalities

Puerto Banús is a five-minute drive; the beach, ten. Centro Plaza is the daily hub — supermarkets, cafés, a good bookshop. Aloha College and Swans International School are within the valley. The A-7 gives you Málaga airport in about 45 minutes.

What to budget

Renovated villas start around €3M for something modest and rise to €15M+ for the newest architectural builds on the best plots. Off-plan and full-renovation projects are common — expect to add 12–24 months and 30–50 % on top of the purchase price.
